Burj Al Arab, world's only 7 star hotel

The Burj Al Arab is THE place to visit when in Dubai. At 321 m (1,053 ft), it is the fourth tallest hotel in the world, standing on on an artificial island 280 m (920 ft) from Jumeirah beach and is connected to the mainland by a private curving bridge. The shape of the structure is designed to mimic the sail of a ship. The hotel is also the world's only seven-Star hotel and one can only gain access by having afternoon tea or cocktail at the Skyview Bar in the hotel. We had to email the hotel a few days in advance to make reservations for drinks at the Sky View Bar.
