Bukchon Hanok Village
Since this was our 3rd trip to Korea (previous two times were on package tour), we skipped all the touristy spots and only visited the Bukchon Hanok Village, at the Anguk Station (안국역) Line 3, exit 2.
The Bukchon Hanok Village is where you can find hundreds of traditional houses called 'hanok' that date back to the Joseon Dynasty. Many of the traditional houses are still occupied by residents so we have to be mindful not to make too much noise when around the area. Nice, walk on a hot summer day !
Samcheong-dong
The nearby Samchongdong area comprises many quaint cafes, antique shops and art galleries. Here's a map of the area.
